Dear subscriber,
In this corner of the blog, I write letters to subscribers. It is a space for thoughts, wanderings, and experiences that nourish the creative process. At times, it may take the form of a book, exhibition, or film review; at others, it may simply be the quiet contemplation of the everyday. Here, I wish to share reflections and, at times, offer questions—open invitations to dialogue with those who read along.
The Verticality of the Shoe or the Shoe as Pedestal. (EN)
The shoe as a pedestal embodies the tension between who we are and how we move forward. Verticality is not merely standing upright, but walking with purpose, on foundations that support us with affirmation. We are not fixed like statues. We rise as we advance. Our pedestal is not immobile; it “holds us in transit.”
